A Humble Review Of The LG KF510

Mobile phones and mobile phone technologies have advanced quite a bit over the years, and the LG KF510 is an obvious result of such advances. The mobile phone has an unforgettable posh sense of style, and also conforms to popular mobile phone structures by offering the phone as a slider phone. The real test, however, comes with whether or not the phone can live up to the style it creates.

The LG KF510 is first noticed by its display and unique style. It sports a metallic finish that surrounds a large 2.2 inch display. It is quite slim, much like the Motorola RAZR line of mobile phones, which also gives it good street credit. Even more exciting is the fact that the LG KF510 features a touch screen display much like the Apple iPhone counterpart.

The LG KF510 can in many senses be called a mobile entertainment center. The LG KF510 gives users easy access to the Internet through a mobile web browser. For those who can’t get enough of their local music and talk shows, an FM radio is included in the package. Other options for videos, pictures, and programs also add to the entertainment value.

Connectivity and networking also see much improvement over other mobile phones. Support for USB 2.0 is included, so that users may transfer files to and from other devices without any trouble at all. Bluetooth is also included for a wireless way to share and send files, programs, or music without having to buy expensive cables and deal with notoriously arduous connections and procedures.

As far as photographers go, there is much to love in the LG KF510. The LG KF510 offers a 3 megapixel camera phone that also sports an autofocus feature so you won’t have any more blurred shots as a result of distance or lack thereof. An extra memory card can be added or swapped in order to get as many photographs on a mobile phone as anyone would need- not to mention programs, music, and other multimedia types.

But not all is fine in the world of the LG KF510. Because it is a touch screen mobile phone, it has problems in getting visibility when in direct sunlight. This could be bad for anyone who works out in the sun for much of the day. While it isn’t an incredibly dire disappointment, it certainly is annoying to try and determine what the touch screen is displaying while in sunlight.

Another disappointment in the LG KF510 is the fact that it doesn’t support 3G. The 3G network allows mobile phone users to obtain high speed transmissions, multimedia options otherwise not available, and a large range of other options. It looks like LG KF510 users will be left out.

Closing Comments

Although the LG KF510 doesn’t have perfect scores in every department, it is still a wonderful mobile phone to have. It can keep up with most of the current technologies, has a great style, and is generally cheaper than many other new mobile phones. Certainly, it should be kept in mind when looking to purchase a new mobile phone.
